Role Description

The Media Management Intern acts as the right hand to the Senior Media Manager, adding a vast array of media buying skills to your tool belt. You will learn the Google and Facebook advertising guidelines and industry best practices like the back of your hand. You will be guided by our Senior Media Buyers  on a daily basis  and apply yourself by learning new skills on the fly. 

You will go from a campaign optimization padawan to jedi on Paid Search, Paid Social and more. SEO, web dev, creative design, & copywriting skills will also become some of the sharpest tools in your shed. You will apply yourself to research and learn how social platforms operate so you can work as a partner to your Senior Media Manager. You will see firsthand the power of digital marketing to scale companies making an impact in the world while simultaneously scaling your own personal impact in the world.

    Responsibilities

    Strategic Direction
    • Audit existing marketing funnels
      • Analyze account performance 
      • Provide feedback to the account manager on how to optimize the account and what assets will be needed
      • Have the confidence and ability to quickly learn and use different marketing tools
      • Create report with breakdown of every asset with suggestions for improvement
      • Record video walk through and include any relevant analytics / data
    • Assist Senior Media Buyer in formulating on-going strategic consultation  for the client
    • Participate in weekly review calls with the Senior Media Buyer to discuss results & performance
      • Analyze campaigns and provide updates to the Senior Media Buyer to make optimizations as needed to achieve success
      • Keep an eye on main KPIs and immediately report if the results seem out of the ordinary 
    CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT AND OPTIMIZATION
    • Create strategies for new campaigns on Facebook, Google, and other top platforms
    • Ensure campaigns are going according to plan (on budget and on time)
      • Launch new campaigns and/or refresh existing ones
      • Communicate with your Senior Media Buyer on the progress 
      • Double check new campaigns before they go live 
      • Clarify with your Senior Media Buyer if a task is not clear enough to make sure you have all the resources and information needed to execute the work
      • Monitor account performance daily
    REPORTING
    • Update report data in a timely manner
    • Present new findings and recommendations
    • Complete report tasks in Asana and highlight important points for weekly and monthly reports
    • Update report data in a timely manner
